Dhaval Bhandari vs Johar Matthai

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Gujurat promoted show at Deepak Bhattacharya Gym, Surat,  taking place on 01/12/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India-Gujurat Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dhaval Bhandari (9 - 9 - 1) who hails from Surat, India and Johar Matthai(1 - 0) from Surat, India.  Bhandari weighed in at 167 pounds and 15 ounces, while Matthai weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zuffur Nazir, and the three ringside judges are Rehman Samaan, Yasin Sinai and Arjuna Rangaswamy.
