Mike Howell vs Ben Strachan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Texas promoted show at Houston Lemmond, Houston,  taking place on 02/12/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Texas Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mike Howell (7 - 7 - 5) who hails from Houston, USA and Ben Strachan(10 - 8(1)) from El Paso, USA.  Both Howell and Strachan weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brett Sproule, and the three ringside judges are David Manatt, Orlando Merlin and Andy Saenz.  

Round 1: 

Howell is on target with a left hook.  Howell throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
