Michael Carran vs Aron Perkins

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Utah promoted show at Richie Akins Gym, Salt Lake City,  taking place on 02/12/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Utah Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Carran (3 - 5 - 2) who hails from West Valley City, USA and Aron Perkins(12(5) - 4(1)) from Salt Lake City, USA.  Carran weighed in at 129 pounds and 15 ounces, while Perkins weighed in at 129 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sam Cavanaugh, and the three ringside judges are Rhod Gubay, Justin Lloyd and Rhod Gubay.  

Round 1: 

Perkins steps inside.  Carran throws a left uppercut, but Perkins clinches his opponent.  Perkins pushes his forearm into Carran's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Perkins to stop fouling.
