Theo Vermeulen vs Ian Samkange

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zimbabwe-Harare promoted show at Chitungwiza Matonga, Chitungwiza,  taking place on 03/12/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Zimbabwe-Harare Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Theo Vermeulen (17(1) - 1) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Ian Samkange(5 - 8 - 3) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Both Vermeulen and Samkange weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Steven Joubert, and the three ringside judges are Adam Samkange, Jacob Aulds and James Mupariwa.
