Gan Chao vs Keun-ho Ku

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at University of Science and Technology, Beijing,  taking place on 20/12/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the East Asian Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Starsports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gan Chao (11 - 7 - 3) who hails from Kunming, China and Keun-ho Ku(17 - 4(2) - 1) from Seoul, South Korea.  Both Chao and Ku weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yuan Hsu, and the three ringside judges are Gao Kung, Fo-hsing Tse and HuiK'o Chow.  

Round 1: 

Chao sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Ku tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Ku connects with a cross.  
Chao closes the distance.  Ku pivots to the right of his opponent.  Chao lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.
