James Umanzor vs Paul Dowie

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Civic Auditorium, San Jose,  taking place on 15/12/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-California Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are James Thunder Umanzor (14(7) - 0) who hails from Santa Ana, USA and Paul Dowie(8 - 11 - 6) from Los Angeles, USA.  Umanzor weighed in at 239 pounds and 4 ounces, while Dowie weighed in at 238 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Fraser Lesley, and the three ringside judges are Ben Banos, Mike Sander and Sean Bowens.

You can sense Dowie is getting frustrated in there.   He throws a low uppercut...that landed well below the belt! The ref doesnt appear to have noticed the foul and signals for the action to continue.
