Phil Gilchrist vs Michael Hyslop

Boxing Daily Report from the Baddog promoted show at Dave Andreychuk Mountain Arena, Hamilton,  taking place on 22/12/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Ontario Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Phil Gilchrist (4 - 0 - 1) who hails from Brampton, Canada and Michael Hyslop(9 - 9 - 2) from Markham, Canada.  Both Gilchrist and Hyslop weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Dashiell, and the three ringside judges are Dave Mollison, Neil Cowans and Callum Berry.  

Round 1: 

Gilchrist lands a ramrod jab.
