Davie Bryars vs Itumeleng Maphatsoe

Boxing Daily Report from the Ten Count Promotions promoted show at Anfield Stadium, Liverpool,  taking place on 20/12/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Davie Bryars (20(8) - 3(1) - 1) who hails from Plymouth, UK and Itumeleng Maphatsoe(20 - 4) from Mitchells Plain, South Africa.  Bryars weighed in at 147 pounds, while Maphatsoe weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Irfan Assaf, and the three ringside judges are Tobias Moffit, Max Smith and Kieran Saunders.  

Round 1: 

Bryars closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.
