Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 17/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Oceania Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Fabiano Favoloso Ferrari (16(1) - 1 - 1) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Sam Watters(11 - 3) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Ferrari weighed in at 117 pounds and 10 ounces, while Watters weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tobias Bruce, and the three ringside judges are Robert Reekie, Billy Pryce and Seth Urbano.
