Ulises Avitia vs Gabriel Alegre

Boxing Daily Report from the Majola Promotions promoted show at Alejandro Martinez Gym, Río Cuarto,  taking place on 13/11/2025:

Clearly Majola Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Argentina-Córdoba Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ulises Avitia (6 - 4 - 2) who hails from Córdoba, Argentina and Gabriel Alegre(5 - 7 - 1) from Córdoba, Argentina.  Both Avitia and Alegre weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gabriel Esperanza, and the three ringside judges are Gig Blando, Gig Blando and Lorenzo Villagrana.  

Round 1: 

Alegre steps away from his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Alegre sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Alegre attempts to land a jab, but Avitia blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Alegre.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
