Liko Lung vs Shen Young

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Jiangsu promoted show at Li Nie Gym, Suzhou,  taking place on 15/11/2025:

Clearly AI China-Jiangsu have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the China-Jiangsu Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Liko Lung (9 - 6 - 4) who hails from Nanjing, China and Shen Young(4 - 12 - 3) from Wuxi, China.  Both Lung and Young weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bing Qu, and the three ringside judges are Deshi Yep, Lee Lei and Huang-fu Yiu.  

Round 1: 

Young is looking to close the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Young sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Lung finds the target with a jab.  
Young closes the distance.  Young pivots to the side of his opponent.  Young wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lung dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Young advances into close range and hits home with a right hook.

Lung steps away from his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Lung lands a jab.  
Young is on target with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Young's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Young's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Lung switches the action to the outside and tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Lung steps to the outside.  Young quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Lung lands a cross.  
Young steps inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Lung.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Young manouvers Lung onto the ropes.  Lung is on target with a left hook to Young's body.  
Young sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Lung attempts to land a jab, but Young slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Young is looking to close the distance.  Lung voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Young is whaling away with hooks, but Lung keeps his defence tight.  
Young hits home with a right hook.  
Lung tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab to Young's body.
