Jens Manderscheid vs Bingham Gehris

Boxing Daily Report from the Jacob Howes promoted show at Jacob Gym, Munich,  taking place on 29/11/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Jens Manderscheid (3 - 0) who hails from Duisburg, Germany and Bingham Gehris(3 - 8 - 3) from Hamburg, Germany.  Both Manderscheid and Gehris weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Archard Labus, and the three ringside judges are Arnaud Agers, Reamonn Dade and Eckerd Birkhofer.  

Round 1: 

Manderscheid lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  Manderscheid holds on to his opponent.  Manderscheid is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Manderscheid about fouling.  
Manderscheid closes the distance and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Manderscheid steps inside.  Gehris drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Manderscheid closes the distance and connects with a right hook.  
Manderscheid gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Gehris throws a left hook, but Manderscheid ties up his opponent.  Manderscheid leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Manderscheid lands a left hook.  Manderscheid ties up his opponent.  Manderscheid tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Gehris behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Manderscheid.  
Manderscheid steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Gehris steps to the outside.  Manderscheid hits home with a cross.  
Manderscheid throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Manderscheid holds on to his opponent.  Manderscheid is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Gehris steps to the outside and lands an overhand left.  
Manderscheid is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut.  
Gehris throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Manderscheid dabs at his face checking for damage.

Manderscheid is looking to close the distance.  Gehris throws a left hook, but Manderscheid holds on to his opponent.  Manderscheid pushes his forearm into Gehris's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Manderscheid to stop fouling.  
Manderscheid sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Gehris lands a right hook.  
Manderscheid is on target with a cross.  
Gehris pivots to the side of his opponent.  Manderscheid lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Manderscheid advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Gehris feints a left, and then is on target with a cross.  
Gehris tries to keep the action at long range and connects with an overhand right.  
Manderscheid advances into close range.  Manderscheid sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Gehris throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Manderscheid time to recover.  
Manderscheid advances into close range and lands a right hook.  
Manderscheid digs in a left hook to Gehris's liver.

Manderscheid walks his opponent into the corner.  Manderscheid lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Manderscheid clinches his opponent.  Manderscheid uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Gehris's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Manderscheid about fouling.  
Manderscheid closes the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  Manderscheid ties up his opponent.  Manderscheid uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Gehris behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Manderscheid advances into close range.  Gehris attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Manderscheid time to recover.  
Manderscheid is on target with a left hook to Gehris's body.  
Manderscheid lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Manderscheid lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Manderscheid is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.
