Santiago Gomez vs Takeo Sera

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Staples Center, Los Angeles,  taking place on 03/01/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the WRBC Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on DAZN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Santiago Gomez (19(12) - 1 - 1) who hails from Maipu, Chile and Takeo Sera(19(7) - 3(3) - 1) from Ichikawa, Japan.  Both Gomez and Sera weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kiki Aybar, and the three ringside judges are Bruce Carra, Justin Lever and Blake Travis.
