Jun Sazama vs Keun-ho Chai

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Yoyogi National Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 03/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the East Asian Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jun Sazama (14(10) - 1(1) - 1) who hails from Kyoto, Japan and Keun-ho Chai(16 - 0) from Daegu, South Korea.  Both Sazama and Chai weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Isamu Nonaka, and the three ringside judges are Takeo Kibe, Kyo Arima and Ichiro Tsukamoto.
