Cruz Sotello vs Rodrigo Morando

Boxing Daily Report from the Burja Promotions promoted show at Santo Domingo de Guz Mansilla, Santo Domingo de Guzman,  taking place on 16/11/2025:

Clearly Burja Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Dominican Republic-Distrito Nacional Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cruz Sotello (9 - 3 - 4) who hails from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic and Rodrigo Morando(9 - 5 - 1) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Both Sotello and Morando weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Conrado, and the three ringside judges are Hernan Orosco, Guillermo Galea and Angel Marto.  

Round 1: 

Sotello quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Morando's body.
