Tom MacDiarmid vs Peter Gam

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Fair Expo Center Arnold Hall, Miami,  taking place on 03/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tom MacDiarmid (6 - 0) who hails from Norfolk, USA and Peter Gam(3 - 4 - 4) from New York City, USA.  Both MacDiarmid and Gam weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hugh Guffy, and the three ringside judges are Dave Kay, Sam Matteson and Rob Quigg.  

Round 1: 

MacDiarmid steps inside and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
MacDiarmid steps to the outside and lands a sharp jab.

MacDiarmid is on target with a cross.  MacDiarmid throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
MacDiarmid lands a jab.  
MacDiarmid forces Gam to retreat into the corner.  MacDiarmid lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  MacDiarmid ties up his opponent.  MacDiarmid is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures MacDiarmid about fouling.
