Roman Montijo vs Juan Mattos

Boxing Daily Report from the Sumito Urayama's KO Kings promoted show at Ginasio Antonio Prado Junior, Sao Paulo,  taking place on 04/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Roman Montijo (6 - 0) who hails from Sao Paulo, Brazil and Juan Mattos(10 - 7 - 4) from Sao Paulo, Brazil.  Both Montijo and Mattos weighed in at 199 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Fosco, and the three ringside judges are Angel Fagundes, Vicente Moraes and Rodrigo Mendosa.  

Round 1:
