Federico Mirelez vs Rico Mijares

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Guayas promoted show at Jax Bolivar Gym, Guayaquil,  taking place on 15/12/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ecuador-Guayas Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Federico Mirelez (3 - 2) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Rico Mijares(3 - 8) from Duran, Ecuador.  Mirelez weighed in at 243 pounds and 6 ounces, while Mijares weighed in at 239 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Cipriano Carrera, and the three ringside judges are Dario Ramirez, Sagaz Ancheta and Juan Corzo.
