Boxing Daily Report from the Ace Boxing promoted show at Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff,  taking place on 03/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Celtic Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Patrick McClaren (12 - 4) who hails from Drogheda, Ireland and Lee Finnin(10 - 2 - 2) from Belfast, UK.  McClaren weighed in at 236 pounds and 5 ounces, while Finnin weighed in at 228 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark MacNevin, and the three ringside judges are Edwyn Brodie, Terry Lyons and Dale Carrick.
