Ovidio Valle vs Rex Roberton

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Miami Kier, Miami,  taking place on 15/12/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Ovidio Valle (1 - 0) who hails from Bayamon, Puerto Rico and Rex Roberton(1 - 0) from Columbus, USA.  Both Valle and Roberton weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brett Arthur, and the three ringside judges are Xaverius Guerra, Robert Johnstone and Malcolm Porteous.  

Round 1: 

Valle finds the target with a jab.  
Roberton switches the action to the outside.  Roberton sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Valle throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

Valle lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Valle ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Valle pushes his forearm into Roberton's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Valle is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Valle holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Valle pushes his forearm into Roberton's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
