Paul Connelly vs Callum Graham

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Ohio promoted show at Cincinnati Haraldson, Cincinnati,  taking place on 19/12/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Ohio Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Connelly (13(2) - 6) who hails from Cleveland, USA and Callum Graham(8 - 6 - 2) from Columbus, USA.  Connelly weighed in at 118 pounds, while Graham weighed in at 117 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Phil Hines, and the three ringside judges are Jack Pfluger, Michael Fentress and Jack Pfluger.  

Round 1: 

Connelly is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Connelly sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a solid left hook.  
Connelly hits home with a firm right uppercut.  
Graham is looking to keep his distance and attempts to land a jab, but Connelly sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Connelly quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Connelly advances into close range and manages to force Graham into a neutral corner.  Connelly is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Connelly lands a double right hook to his opponents head.

Connelly walks Graham into a corner.  Connelly digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Connelly hits home with a right hook.  Connelly throws a right uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.

Connelly steps inside.  Graham pivots to the left of his opponent.  Connelly connects with a right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Connelly dabs at his face checking for damage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Graham's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Graham's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Connelly has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused a slight cut in the corner of.  
Connelly stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Graham tries to land a jab, but Connelly sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.
