Boxing Daily Report from the UAE Boxing promoted show at DSC Hockey Stadium, Dubai,  taking place on 07/02/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the UAE Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Al Jazeera Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jawad Jasem (17(6) - 0) who hails from Dubai, UAE and Zain Yaziji(8 - 4) from Dubai, UAE.  Both Jasem and Yaziji weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Obaid Awan, and the three ringside judges are Sajid Khalil, Syed Gazal and Majid Alshehri.  

Round 1: 

Yaziji throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Jasem is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a spiteful jab.

Jasem knows Yaziji is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Jasem lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head, AND YAZIJI IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  
Yaziji walks Jasem onto the ropes.  Jasem lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head, DROPPING YAZIJI TO THE CANVAS!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Jasem!
