Malcolm Davies vs Bob Rainey

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at University at Buffalo Alumni Arena, Buffalo,  taking place on 21/01/2026:

Clearly Bos Firefighters have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the North American Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Malcolm Davies (14(10) - 2(1)) who hails from Ontario, USA and Bob Rainey(16(1) - 6 - 3) from Virginia Beach, USA.  Davies weighed in at 147 pounds, while Rainey weighed in at 146 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is John Purcell, and the three ringside judges are Cristiano Grimaldi, Zach Moriarty and Neil Sneddon.
