Akira Yokoyama vs Jun Nakano

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Tokyo promoted show at Yuichi Kawashima Gym, Tokyo,  taking place on 20/12/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Tokyo Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Akira Yokoyama (7 - 6) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Jun Nakano(12 - 0) from Tokyo, Japan.  Yokoyama weighed in at 126 pounds, while Nakano weighed in at 125 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Yasushi Shishido, and the three ringside judges are Kaede Toyama, Hisao Yamane and Nori Saito.  

Round 1: 

Yokoyama is looking to keep his distance.  Nakano lands a stiff jab.
