Dillon Briar vs Lucas Cowden

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Jamaica-Saint Andrew promoted show at David Hannay Gym, New Kingston,  taking place on 23/12/2025:

Clearly AI Jamaica-Saint Andrew have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Jamaica-Saint Andrew Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dillon Briar (6 - 7 - 5) who hails from New Kingston, Jamaica and Lucas Cowden(3 - 12 - 2) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  Both Briar and Cowden weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ricky Hewson, and the three ringside judges are Ricky Eckford, Ricky Hewson and Kyle Burnside.  

Round 1: 

Briar sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Briar lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Cowden steps inside.  Briar pivots to the right of his opponent.  Cowden is on target with a right hook to Briar's ribs.
