Gustav Bolen vs Majid Tabet

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Energia Areena, Vantaa,  taking place on 07/02/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Yle TV2, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gustav Bolen (14(5) - 0) who hails from Malmo, Sweden and Majid Tabet(9 - 10(2) - 3) from Sharjah, UAE.  Both Bolen and Tabet weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kauko Lehtinen, and the three ringside judges are Valdemar Makela, Urmas Salo and Armas Korpela.  

Round 1: 

Bolen advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Bolen lands a right hook, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Bolen lands two left hook's to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Bolen clinches his opponent.  Bolen leans on his opponent using all his weight. Bolen tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Tabet behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Bolen to stop fouling.  
Bolen lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bolen dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Bolen is on target with a stiff jab.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Tabet's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Tabet's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.
