Shing Chai vs Shayan Rahal

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at University of Science and Technology, Beijing,  taking place on 24/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Asia-Oceania Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Starsports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Shing Chai (15(2) - 1 - 1(NC)) who hails from Changchun, China and Shayan Rahal(20(1) - 1) from Dubai, UAE.  Chai weighed in at 134 pounds and 15 ounces, while Rahal weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gao Kung, and the three ringside judges are Jiang Shiau, Xin Wan and Chung Mon.
