Huang-fu Huang vs Yan á Slovenov

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Don Haskins Convention Center, El Paso,  taking place on 27/12/2025:

Clearly Rattlesnake Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Huang-fu Huang (15(12) - 0) who hails from Yichang, China and Yan á Slovenov(16(1) - 4(3)) from Sofia, Bulgaria.  Huang weighed in at 159 pounds and 13 ounces, while Slovenov weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ricky Steenson, and the three ringside judges are Brett Sproule, Ian Hesson and Bruce Deliz.  

Round 1: 

Huang is looking to keep his distance and is on target with an overhand right.  Huang throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook to Huang's body.

Slovenov voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Huang tries to tag Slovenov on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Huang connects with a cross.  
Huang steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Slovenov lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Huang tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with an overhand right.

Huang tries to land a right hook, but Slovenov parries the shot and counters with a cross.

Slovenov is looking to keep his distance and attempts to land a cross, but Huang dodges the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.

Huang lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Slovenov now seems to have got his legs back.  
Huang quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Slovenov lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Huang is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a cross, but Slovenov blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Huang tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand right followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Huang lands a cross.  
Slovenov lands a left uppercut.  Slovenov throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Huang gets on the inside and connects with a solid right hook.  
Huang steps to the outside and lands an overhand left, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Huang stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Huang lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head, AND SENDS SLOVENOV TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  Slovenov now seems to have got his legs back.  
Huang hits the target with a spiteful jab.  Huang throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Huang tries to keep the action at long range and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND DROPS SLOVENOV!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Huang!
