Julius Sogunro vs Obafemi Afolabi

Boxing Daily Report from the Ofosu-Ayeh Promotions promoted show at Kano Miah, Kano,  taking place on 26/11/2025:

Clearly Ofosu-Ayeh Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kano State Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Julius Sogunro (8 - 6 - 4) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Obafemi Afolabi(4 - 15(1) - 3) from Kano, Nigeria.  Both Sogunro and Afolabi weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Theophilus Adeniran, and the three ringside judges are Lukman Aderemi, Gbolahan Adenaike and Izunna Obiefuna.
