Tamarius Asabigi vs Ubanwa Awere

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Eastern Cape promoted show at Rivaldo Nyauza Gym, Port Elizabeth,  taking place on 22/12/2025:

Clearly AI South Africa-Eastern Cape have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the South Africa-Eastern Cape Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tamarius Asabigi (4 - 1) who hails from Port Elizabeth, South Africa and Ubanwa Awere(4 - 0) from Port Elizabeth, South Africa.  Both Asabigi and Awere weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Udenwa Kpegah, and the three ringside judges are Puleng Bungu, Borg Cronje and Ewan Nyauza.
