Mikio Kawakami vs Ichiro Takayama

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Tokyo International Forum, Tokyo,  taking place on 06/12/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Mikio Kawakami (3 - 2 - 2) who hails from Sagamihara, Japan and Ichiro Takayama(4 - 8 - 3) from Osaka, Japan.  Kawakami weighed in at 147 pounds, while Takayama weighed in at 146 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Isamu Okimoto, and the three ringside judges are Hisao Hatanaka, Hideki Ishibashi and Hikaru Mikami.
