Rico Natividad vs Alejandro Santoyo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Guerrero promoted show at Acapulco Vicario, Acapulco,  taking place on 23/12/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico-Guerrero Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rico Natividad (19 - 1 - 1) who hails from Acapulco, Mexico and Alejandro Santoyo(6 - 7 - 6) from Acapulco, Mexico.  Natividad weighed in at 107 pounds and 11 ounces, while Santoyo weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Bedoya, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Verduzco, Joaquin Bedoya and Santiago Verduzco.  

Round 1: 

Natividad tries to keep the action at long range and attempts to land a jab, but Santoyo sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Santoyo steps inside and throws a left uppercut, but Natividad ties up his opponent.  Natividad is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.
