Carlos Buelna vs Xavion Najera

Boxing Daily Report from the Mugyenyi Promotions promoted show at Matamoros Mondragon, Matamoros,  taking place on 26/12/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Tamaulipas Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Buelna (10 - 1 - 4) who hails from Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and Xavion Najera(14 - 6 - 1) from Matamoros, Mexico.  Buelna weighed in at 135 pounds, while Najera weighed in at 134 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Badia, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Rebolledo, Emanuel Mieras and Xeres Sevilla.  

Round 1:
