Danny Godana vs Rob Matui

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kisumu promoted show at Ibrahim Arafat Gym, Kisumu,  taking place on 27/12/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Kisumu Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Danny Godana (11(2) - 0) who hails from Kisumu, Kenya and Rob Matui(5(1) - 0) from Kisumu, Kenya.  Both Godana and Matui weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arthur Wacera, and the three ringside judges are Kendis Rimbui, Mick Mutu and Peter Kirui.  

Round 1: 

Godana steps away from his opponent and is on target with a jab.
