Fred Baines vs Cody Atkins

Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at Lancashire CCC, Manchester,  taking place on 19/12/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the British-Central England Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Dave, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Fred Baines (11 - 5 - 1) who hails from Sheffield, UK and Cody Atkins(4 - 11 - 2) from Birmingham, UK.  Both Baines and Atkins weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cody Biggs, and the three ringside judges are Robert Boduch, Robert Ewings and Mark Bonnar.  

Round 1: 

Atkins manouvers Baines into the corner.  Baines is on target with a cross.
