Ovidio Marto vs Ignado Tax

Boxing Daily Report from the Sahaghyan Promotions promoted show at Madrid Pinzon, Madrid,  taking place on 01/12/2025:

Clearly Sahaghyan Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Spain-Comunidad de Madrid Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ovidio Marto (4 - 7) who hails from Madrid, Spain and Ignado Tax(3 - 5 - 3) from Madrid, Spain.  Marto weighed in at 175 pounds, while Tax weighed in at 174 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Diego Sibal, and the three ringside judges are Emanuel Sanchez, Francisco Delgadillo and Paco Castilleja.  

Round 1: 

Tax tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Tax's ribcage.  
Tax gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but Marto ties up his opponent.  Tax pushes his forearm into Marto's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Tax about fouling.
