Jiro Doi vs Hisao Morishige

Boxing Daily Report from the Pearlnew Promotions promoted show at International House Osaka, Osaka,  taking place on 31/01/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Osaka Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jiro Doi (13 - 0) who hails from Osaka, Japan and Hisao Morishige(9 - 3 - 2) from Osaka, Japan.  Both Doi and Morishige weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shinji Iseri, and the three ringside judges are Jun Nakahara, Hisoka Tsuchida and Michi Yokoyama.
