Berto Gongora vs Edmundo Espin

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Puerto Rico-San Juan promoted show at Diego Moreton Gym, San Juan,  taking place on 02/12/2025:

Clearly AI Puerto Rico-San Juan have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Puerto Rico-San Juan Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Berto Gongora (8 - 7 - 2) who hails from San Juan, Puerto Rico and Edmundo Espin(9 - 11(1) - 2) from San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Both Gongora and Espin weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ignado Montalvan, and the three ringside judges are Juan Laurel, Marco Portalatin and Pancho Fuerte.
