Jack Blandon vs Montrose Malot

Boxing Daily Report from the AL Promotions promoted show at Stub Hub Center (Football), Los Angeles,  taking place on 31/01/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight are the IRBF Cruiserweight and WRBC Cruiserweight titles.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on HBO, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jack Bang Bang Blandon (23(18) - 0) who hails from Philadelphia, USA and Montrose Malot(23(16) - 2(2)) from Villeurbanne, France.  Both Blandon and Malot weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Blake Travis, and the three ringside judges are Edward Danskin, Bradley Fortun and Blake Green.  

Round 1: 

Malot is on target with a jab.  
Malot lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Blandon lands a firm right hook.  
Blandon is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a ramrod jab.

Malot forces Blandon to back into the ropes.  Malot pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Malot hits home with a left hook.  Malot throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Malot closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Blandon switches the action to the outside.  Malot lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Malot throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Malot lands a cross.  Malot throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook to Malot's ribcage.  
Malot closes the distance.  Blandon attempts to land a right hook, but Malot dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Malot sidesteps to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Malot pivots to the left of his opponent.  Malot hits home with a left hook.  Malot throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Blandon steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands two consecutive overhand lefts to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Blandon is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Blandon lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook, right uppercut and a cross to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES MALOT!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.  
Blandon lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS MALOT TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  It looks like Malot has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Malot hits home with a stinging jab.  
Malot is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Blandon switches the action to the outside.  Blandon sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Malot tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook.  
Malot attempts to land a right hook, but Blandon dodges the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Blandon's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Malot's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Malot tries to land a right hook, but Blandon slips the shot and counters with a FIERCE cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE MALOT WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Malot recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Malot hits home with a left hook.  Malot tries to land a right hook, but Blandon sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Blandon tries to land a jab, but Malot slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Malot gets on the inside and drives a right uppercut into Blandon's body.  
Blandon steps away from his opponent and is on target with a firm cross.  
Blandon switches the action to the outside.  Malot throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Malot lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Malot manages to force Blandon onto the ropes.  Malot digs in a left hook to Blandon's body.  
Malot is on target with a right hook.  
Malot pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Blandon steps to the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES MALOT!  He manages to get up at 5.  Malot almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Blandon tries to step out of his opponents range.  Malot lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Malot is on target with a left hook.  
Malot steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Blandon on the ropes.  Malot is on target with a right hook.  
Malot lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Malot connects with a left hook.  Malot throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a HUGE cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE MALOT WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Blandon switches the action to the outside.  Blandon sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Blandon lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES MALOT!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Blandon!
