Uzondu Mabudafhasi vs Anele Mashaba

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Nasrec Indoor Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 20/01/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Uzondu Mabudafhasi (14(7) - 0) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Anele Mashaba(10 - 7(1) - 1) from iBhayi, South Africa.  Both Mabudafhasi and Mashaba weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Khumalo, and the three ringside judges are Xhosas Kwadwo, Charel Cilliers and John Cele.
