Waqar Latif vs Khalid Abed

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UAE-Ash Shariqah promoted show at Jawad Hashemi Gym, Sharjah,  taking place on 03/12/2025:

Clearly AI UAE-Ash Shariqah have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the UAE-Ash Shariqah Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Waqar Latif (11 - 5 - 2) who hails from Sharjah, UAE and Khalid Abed(14 - 3) from Sharjah, UAE.  Both Latif and Abed weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Abdul El-sayed, and the three ringside judges are Danyaal Naguib, Malik Bakir and Waqar Malloy.  

Round 1: 

Latif advances into close range.  Abed pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.
