Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Korea-Gwangju promoted show at Gwangju Suk, Gwangju,  taking place on 01/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Korea Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Star Sports Korea, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ui-jo U (12 - 3) who hails from Gwangju, South Korea and Jeong-ho Tang(17 - 1 - 1) from Ulsan, South Korea.  Both U and Tang weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bo-kyung Lim, and the three ringside judges are Young-gwon Jeong, Kyo0won Jo and Shin-wook Yum.
