Doruk Altinkaynak vs Mehmet Shahan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Turkey-Izmir promoted show at Tolga Karagoz Gym, Izmir,  taking place on 01/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey-Izmir Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Doruk Altinkaynak (12 - 6 - 5) who hails from Izmir, Turkey and Mehmet Shahan(11 - 5 - 1) from Izmir, Turkey.  Both Altinkaynak and Shahan weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Metin Calhanoglu, and the three ringside judges are Emin Aykut, Tunc Sevi and Devrim Agca.
