Alfonso Gaona vs Zacarias Barriga

Boxing Daily Report from the Shakalongo Promotions promoted show at Zacarias Borge Gym, Barquisimeto,  taking place on 30/12/2025:

Clearly Shakalongo Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Venezuela-Lara Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alfonso Gaona (6(1) - 0) who hails from Barquisimeto, Venezuela and Zacarias Barriga(7 - 5 - 2) from Barquisimeto, Venezuela.  Both Gaona and Barriga weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Porro, and the three ringside judges are Hernan Pecha, Gervasio Peno and Santiago Cardiel.
