Jamie Lightbody vs Paul McAllister

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Towson Center, Baltimore,  taking place on 24/01/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jamie Lightbody (10(3) - 1 - 1) who hails from Columbia, USA and Paul McAllister(12(1) - 0) from Oklahoma City, USA.  Both Lightbody and McAllister weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jamie Bigg, and the three ringside judges are Daniel Gebbie, Stephen Entrekin and Sid Morrison.  

Round 1: 

Lightbody steps to the outside.  Lightbody contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  McAllister tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Lightbody waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  McAllister throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.
