Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Kampala District promoted show at Kampala Juma, Kampala,  taking place on 31/12/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Uganda Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gareth Bhimji (10 - 0 - 2) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Tariq Farooqui(9 - 7(2) - 1) from Kampala, Uganda.  Both Bhimji and Farooqui weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Ludigomkasa, and the three ringside judges are Felix Makubuya, Rehman Shaikh and Neil Rugasira.
