Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Illinois promoted show at Dan Hilson Gym, Rockford,  taking place on 02/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Illinois Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Inness (6 - 7(1) - 2) who hails from Naperville, USA and Michael Jakubiak(6 - 2 - 1) from Joliet, USA.  Inness weighed in at 129 pounds And 6 ounces, while Jakubiak weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Patrick Baker, and the three ringside judges are Inigo Gillies, Mark Terres and Cody Cockburn.
