Luc Phuoc vs Du Cuong

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Vietnam-South promoted show at LOTTE Hotel Emerald Room, Ho Chi Minh City,  taking place on 02/01/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Vietnam-South Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on VT6, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Luc Phuoc (9 - 3) who hails from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Du Cuong(6 - 3) from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.  Both Phuoc and Cuong weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hoang Toan, and the three ringside judges are Lieu Huu, Phan Chinh and Luc Trung.  

Round 1: 

Cuong is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Phuoc hits home with a left hook.
