Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zimbabwe-Bulawayo promoted show at Bulawayo Arubi, Bulawayo,  taking place on 03/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Zimbabwe Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Bryan James (8 - 9(1) - 3) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Dembe Chimbetu(5 - 0) from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.  Both James and Chimbetu weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Matt Quilliam, and the three ringside judges are Joey Mumbengegwi, Joseph Tongogara and Mark Nyambuya.
