Waleed Farres vs Zafa Mahmud

Boxing Daily Report from the Katurole Promotions promoted show at Haaris Almubarak Gym, Sana'a,  taking place on 03/01/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Yemen-Sana'a Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Waleed Farres (12 - 2 - 1) who hails from Sana'a, Yemen and Zafa Mahmud(14 - 3 - 1) from Sana'a, Yemen.  Farres weighed in at 140 pounds, while Mahmud weighed in at 139 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Haaris Sahadi, and the three ringside judges are Tariq Dar, Rehan Abidi and Aftab Azer.
